Invite your friends to an Otani Sushi Making Party where you are the Chef! Have you, or a friend, always wanted to learn the ancient art of sushi creation? Here is a unique oppurtunity found nowhere else! A chance to study with a true sushi master; Mr. Honda.
Mr. Honda's students will learn in the oldest sushi restaurant in Columbus, during business hours. Student's family, friends or special someone can sit at the sushi bar and order sushi from the student. After a short lesson and practice, students will make sushi for themselves and their guest under the close supervision of Master Chef Honda. Mr. Honda will teach students everything they need to know to make authentic sushi, including how to prepare sushi rice. The rice is the most important ingredient that can make good sushi Great Sushi! Mr. Honda will teach students to make any kind of sushi they like:
- Maki Rolls (Sushi Rolls)
- Temaki Rolls (Hand Rolls)
- Nigiri (Sushi by the piece) or
- All Three
Class fee for one student is $50 and for a limited time Mr. Honda is having a special for the Holidays, two students for 0nly $75! Thats a 50% savings! Students can also come back to brush up on their sushi skills for FREE for up to one year after their initial lesson! The only expense beyond the initial lesson fee is the cost of sushi that they make each visit.
We are aslo proud to say that Mr. Honda recently donated his time as the "Official Sushi Teacher" of Ohio State School for the Blind come in and see the fantastic photos and the letters of thanks from all the children.
